Lautaro Martínez spoke about playing the World Cup with the Argentina national team.
Martínez had a goal and an assist for Argentina in their 2-0 win against Honduras. The Argentine spoke to the media after the match. Here is what he had to say:
“I prepared really well, mentally more than anything. In Qatar, individually, I didn’t arrive the way I wanted. That’s why I want to rack up every minute I can and keep gaining confidence.
“I give my best in every training. Hopefully we continue on this road.
“I am very happy to go back to wearing this shirt, to play once more and to enjoy it together with my team mates.
“We have to go and defend what we achieved in Qatar. It’s going to be tough but we’re going to give it everything to leave Argentina as high as possible.”

Giay demonstrated exceptional performance and possesses the versatility to operate as a center-back, if required. Therefore, it may not be necessary for Scaloni to consider Lmq or Senesi as replacements for Balerdi, as Giay could capably fulfill that role.
