The Argentina national team players will be leaving the camp after the World Cup and some will be going back to their clubs. According to TyC Sports, some players of the Argentina national team will be flying to rejoin their clubs and others will be going to different destinations for vacations.
Lionel Scaloni, his coaching staff and some of the players are flying out to Argentina and will be landing today. According to El Grafico web, Lionel Messi, Rodrigo De Paul, Cristian Romero, Julián Álvarez, Nahuel Molina, Gerónimo Rulli, Juan Musso, Nico Paz, Enzo Fernández and Lautaro Martínez are not on the flight back to Argentina.

Yesterday’s defeat still hurts. I honestly don’t know what went wrong.
Before the tournament, many people pointed out concerns about our right-back position and the lack of quality on the wings. Unfortunately, those weaknesses were exposed when it mattered most.
I’m not here to blame Scaloni or the players. This is the same group that ended our 28-year trophy drought in 2021, won the Finalissima, Copa América, and brought us the World Cup in 2022. They deserve our respect and gratitude.
I believed we could repeat the performance from the 2021 Copa América final, when Brazil were the overwhelming favorites. But this time we didn’t have Di María, and Messi, at 39 years old, was often left isolated. No player—especially at that age—can carry a team alone against a side as dominant as Spain. They played like champions, and we simply couldn’t match their level.
Another concern is that our calls to gradually introduce younger players were never fully embraced. By the time changes came, it felt too late. I also wonder why, after winning the 2022 World Cup, we hardly played friendlies against top European opposition. Was the AFA more focused on organizing commercially successful exhibition matches featuring Messi than on preparing the team for the future?
Despite the disappointment, I want Scaloni and his staff to stay. They have earned that trust. Now it’s time to start building the next great Argentina. Spain has shown how successful long-term planning and youth development can be, and Argentina has no shortage of talented young players.

I remember this place was so quiet before the World Cup. Most posts barely got five comments. It was amazing to see everyone come together and talk about the team we all love. I really hope that doesn’t stop now.
One thing I miss is that, unlike most major football clubs and national teams, Argentina doesn’t really have an active English-speaking subreddit where fans can consistently discuss the team. This has become the place where we can all read, share opinions, and talk about Argentina in English.
Hopefully everyone sticks around and stays active.
For a while, we’ll all go quiet.
We’ll carry our broken hearts in silence, replaying moments that might have changed everything. We believed Scaloni would pull one last masterstroke from his sleeve. This time, he couldn’t. Football can be cruel. A few refereeing decisions didn’t help, but that’s not what will stay with me.

If you are the last winner you need to go there with the title defenders in persons. You can’t leave world champions in home. The title defenders deserves to get the chance and do it one more time. If you leave a half of the chamion team in home pundits and hinchas will kill you. But it’s a trap as history showed. You go there with fulfilled players which will never muster same eager and energy we saw in ’22 final. Not just they are 4 years older. It’s just never same passion. They’ve ate the grass to stop France an you will not see same spirit again. Every champion coach is trapped in this unsolvable, fatal dilemma even being aware of it. Hence you see France, Italy, Spain, Germany falling badly in the past as going to defend the titles. The only chance is to give a chance to the eager ones: Lo Celso deserves a chance. Barco, Paz same here. Leaving player like Prestianni in home is bad choice in itself”.
Prestianni is the only one looking like potentiall crack as of now having reseblance to Messi in overall style. Scaloni took the risk of brave selection in 2022. Now turned into coward mode just like the other coaches. That does not mean he should leave. Also not everything is to be erased. The defence was solid against Spain TBH.

Lastly, Messi, but only if he would be happy to play the role of last 20/25 minutes coming off the bench.
