The Argentina national team will play friendly matches in September, October and November.
Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni will have up to six matches remaining in the calendar year. The next international matches are between September 21 and October 6, with one long stretch for the international break.

Keeping all the emotions and pains aside..got an important doubt.
Very long before while speaking with my friend (he too an Argentina Fan but only follow matches in world cup and win or loss won’t affect him anyways and now he’s settled in Middle east). The discussion was who are the real invincible team ? Many teams we discussed but the final conclusion he gave was something profound but confusing too. He said whoever may be the invincible, but if the invincible play the game with their eyes closed, very easily any local school u13 team can beat them if the local team play with their eyes open.
During the final, almost after 75 mins maybe (not sure), Messi got a pass from our player and before getting the ball he scanned two times. Even in that tight pressure situation, Messi got that instinct to Scan. Suddenly my friend’s statement came to my mind that time. Why ‘Scanning’ was never made a crucial feature in training sessions ? Why we confuse with formations and positions in general. If every player goes ahead few steps ahead in their mind like chess players, however strong the opponent, even if it’s a David and Goliath, the probability of winning inclines more towards the scanning team. Just as we knew the most simple law of football is create the space and use the space. Why like many teams, our team also not giving much importance to Scanning. They do occasionally and Messi does frequently. But with only one player it won’t end much fruitfully but still Messi’s scanning gives us lot and lot of results from his individual brilliance. In this world cup, Pedri, Olmo and Rodri scanned very perfectly. In Pirlo’s words, “You don’t need to be the fastest runner but the fastest thinker..” Most of our players received the ball seeing the ball. After receiving they raise their head and see what to do. Maybe we may be celebrating with success now if they had received the ball to execute their plans after receiving rather than totally confused without any plan and not sure what to do after receiving the ball and search for our teammates. Scanning makes things simple and makes us to play simple football as we all knew from Cruyff’s words “Playing football is very simple, but playing simple football is the hardest thing there is..”

If your entire argument for sacking a coach is based on one match, then you’re just being low iq reactionary. Argentina still reached the final and scored the most goals in the tournament again. That’s already a strong case for Scaloni to get a new contract, especially considering half the squad was carrying injuries and Argentina doesn’t have any truly world class wingers.
