Napoli have reached a verbal agreement with Exequiel Zeballos of Boca Juniors.
Exequiel Zeballos is set to join Napoli. According to Fabrizio Romano, there is a verbal agreement in place between the Italian club and the 24 year old on personal terms.
Speaking at a press conference, Napoli director Giovanni Manna had this to say about the Argentine:
“He’s a player I like. His trajectory was interrupted because of some injuries but he’s very strong.
“Like many other players we have analyzed in the last six or eight months, which is normal, since being prepared is part of the game, we are keeping him in mind. He’s a footballer who interests us. If the conditions arise to complete the deal, we will do it. Otherwise, we won’t.”

No future for him with the national team even if becomes star number 1 in Serie A like Nico Paz as long as Scaloni is still in charge.
I’d call that great news. We desperately need wingers and fullbacks, so seeing a promising winger move to a top European league is exactly what Argentina needs. Hopefully he succeeds there and earns his place in the national team soon.
I just hope Argentina starts producing more natural wingers and fullbacks instead of another endless stream of No. 10s. I honestly don’t care about any other position right now.
Our biggest weakness is the lack of pace and width. It’s incredibly frustrating that even some average national teams that have never reached a World Cup semifinal produce better wingers and fullbacks than we do. That’s the one area where Argentina has been falling behind for years, and until we fix it, we’ll keep running into the same problems against the very best teams.
