Ángel Correa has joined River Plate from Tigres and River Plate now have five World Cup winning players on their team.
Correa is going to be joining River Plate, the club confirmed on Friday. The 31 year old spent the last two years with Tigres.
River Plate now have five World Cup champions on the team. Correa joins Nicolás Otamendi, Gonzalo Montiel, Marcos Acuña and Germán Pezzella.
The Argentine league also has Leandro Paredes with Boca Juniors and Ángel Di María with Rosario Central as World Cup champions.
