Mundo Albiceleste continues its series of giveaways this August with one of the most iconic jerseys in football history: the 1986 Argentina Away Retro Jersey, worn by La Albiceleste during the unforgettable 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico.
Led by Carlos Bilardo and inspired by the brilliance of Diego Maradona, Argentina lifted its second World Cup title after defeating West Germany 3-2 in a memorable final. Along the way, Maradona produced some of the greatest moments in football history, including the famous “Goal of the Century” and the “Hand of God” against England in the quarterfinals.
The shirt was worn by legends such as Diego Maradona, Jorge Valdano, Jorge Burruchaga, Oscar Ruggeri, José Luis Brown, Sergio Batista, Ricardo Giusti, and Héctor Enrique.
