Emiliano Martínez could be joining Chelsea from Aston Villa.
Martínez has been rumored to leave Aston Villa and he could join Chelsea. According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are in negotiations with Emiliano’s entourage over the Argentine joining the club.
The 33 year old is keen on the move with talks ongoing.

Not sure what to think of this. Chelsea in the last few years has been a terrible team to join because their club culture has been messed up ever since they got bought out by BlueCo and there’s no space for any players to thrive other than Cole Palmer when Nico Jackson was playing up front and probs Joao Pedro too.
Having said that, Xabi Alonso is a solid manager so he could steady the ship a fair bit. Having said that he could easily be out of the job by January and they might get someone worse. There isn’t really a sporting project there to get behind. Soulless club.
