Leandro Paredes, Nahuel Molina and Thiago Almada will be able to serve their Argentina national team suspensions outside of official games.
Paredes, Molina and Almada were all suspended after the World Cup final. Both Paredes and Molina were suspended seven matches and Thiago Almada is suspended for one match.
It was announced that the AFA requested that they be able to serve their suspensions in friendly matches, outside of the Copa America or World Cup qualifiers. The AFA announced that Paredes, Molina and Almada can serve them in friendly matches.
Its over a month now from the world cup and thoughts are settling in. Some random thoughts…
1. Who is after Dibu? I am happy he i going to Chelsea. Hope he plays most of the games. We need a couple of years from him. I don’t know of any GK coming up, who has all the necessary qualities. Anyone with insight? This has been a long term weak area.
2. Is Franco Mastantuano the worst hype player come out of Argentina? Boy, this guy is really bad. I have not seen much of his games in Argentina but in Europe for over an year, he is bad. Its not only about skill, he may have some of that. But did he really fool so many people?
3. Prestianni should be brought in to the first team now.
4. And more regular times for Barco. Start playing a Enzo, Barco, Maca midefield. Before you jump into roles of #5, #6, #8, I would like Scaloni to go back to the attempt where all 3 collectively had the roles of 5,6, and 8. Try it.
5. Find full backs, from somewhere. Its so bad in that category
6. Do some damage control on reputation and behavior of players. Be better ambassadors of the game and nation. This eventually comes and bites you. Post Messi this is a BIG loss. I am not sure who is our flag bearer of a great ambassador.
ad 2. IMO – yes. He fooled a lot of people. I hate how much predictable he is on his left foot resorting driblings.
ad 3. yes
ad 5. on the left – Simon Escobar and Mateo Del Blanco (plus still Tagliafico for smooth generational experience transition ) are choices that comes to mind

2) Excellent debut for valentine barco against Luton. Chelsea fans are very happy.
3) Emiliano Martinez to Chelsea. Good move. 4) Very unfortunate injury for Tomas Aranda
