José Manuel López spoke about watching the World Cup celebrations after the final.
López was on the pitch and watched Spain lift the World Cup. Speaking in an interview on Palmeiras TV, here is what the 25 year old had to say:
“I think a lot of it was because of what our coach talked about and what he instills in us. He always talks to us about being respectful.
“At that moment, I needed to watch it because I want to come back again and win it. I think it’s part of the suffering. We have to look at things and accept it. That’s going to make me much stronger.
“When we don’t manage to win, because football is a sport, we accept it in the best way. We give everything on the pitch and when it’s not enough to win it, we accept it and keep moving forward.”

Mancini is considering calling up Gimnasia de Mendoza striker Agustin Modica. He is the current top scorer in Argentina league. He was born in Italy when his Father played there. So he is eligible for both Italy and Argentina.
He is good one. Scaloni should do some steps in
A grand total of ~ $318 million has been spent on Enzo Fernández’s transfer fees across his three major transfers:
🇦🇷 River Plate → 🇵🇹 Benfica: ~$19M
🇵🇹 Benfica → 🏴 Chelsea: ~$130M
🏴 Chelsea → 🏴 Manchester City: ~$169M
Total: ~$318M
I genuinely don’t understand how clubs keep dishing out hundreds of millions for Enzo Fernández. He can’t defend particularly well, isn’t fast, loses the ball too easily, rarely breaks down a good defense, and seems to disappear against quality opposition. For the money involved, I just don’t see the hype. Chelsea now look much stronger and faster without Enzo.
Argentina might have had a different outcome if Scaloni had replaced Enzo with Lo Celso, Barco or Paz in the final
For context, Argentina’s domestic league champion receives just $500,000 in prize money. Yet this turd alone has generated roughly $300M+ in transfer fees across his three transfers.
Lo Celso is injured again, Palacios yet to feature for Ipswich. Mac Allister might not be an automatic starter at Liverpool anymore, we have to watch for that but the early signs might be pointing in that direction. We might need a bigger reshuffle than we think.
Dibu, Licha, Cuti, Lautaro are still good. Nico Paz, Enzo, Perrone in midfield? Prestianni on the left? We need wingers for the right side. New fullbacks.
Tagliafico ended up staying at Lyon, will be a bench player there. He was linked to Juventus and esp Atletico but that fell through. Nico Gonzalez back at Juve. Giay needs to be fully integrated now, we don’t have any other decent RB options.
Palacios played against Man Utd in their 5-2 loss. Giay is only a sub at Palmeiras. Speaking of RB, keep an eye on Sassuolo RB, his name is difficult to pronounce but he is eligible for Argentina along with Italy. Looks very promising.
Strasbourg signed an Argentine LB Mateo Del Blanco but he is only on the bench so far. Ironically they have also Joaquin Gimenez, from Sevilla, very promising LB, also eligible for Argentina.
I mean damn, we’re all disappointed Messi retired from the Albiceleste but we all knew he wasn’t going to play forever!
It’s been dead silent around here, cheer up and look forward to the future.
