Lautaro Martínez scored twice for Inter in their 2-2 draw against Roma on Saturday.
Roma went into halftime with a 2-0 lead, but Lautaro started Inter’s comeback in the second half. The Argentine combined with Marcus Thuram and made a run into the box before scoring with his left foot to make it 2-1.
Lautaro scored again in the 78th minute. After Inter kept the ball alive inside the area, Yann Bisseck found Lautaro, who scored with a volley to make it 2-2 and complete his brace.
There was also a strong Argentine presence for Roma. Paulo Dybala, Matías Soulé, Nahuel Molina and Leonardo Balerdi all started the match, while Santiago Castro was in the squad but did not enter the match.
One interesting detail was Molina’s position, as the Argentina national team defender played as a left wing-back during the match.
Another big performance from Lautaro, who scored both of Inter’s goals to help his team come back from 2-0 down.
