Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni has confirmed that Cristian Romero is the new captain of the Argentina national team.
Lionel Scaloni spoke at a press conference on Tuesday about who is going to replace Lionel Messi as Argentina national team captain. Cristian Romero has been named captain and Scaloni also named the three captains. Here is what he had to say:
“Cuti Romero will be the captain. The second will be Emiliano Martínez and the third is Lautaro.”
