Burkina Faso are set to play with U23 players against the Argentina national team.
The African country will be without their starters for the match. According to Romain Molina, Burkina Faso players left the camp because of organisation and financial questions.
To avoid a forfeit, they have sent the U23 national team are set to land in Argentina on Saturday, the day of the match.

What a terrible arrangement. What a terrible organizational planning. There is a thread going on a few posts below on this topic. AFA must look into this seriously. Someone must challenge the way we are using the FIFA dates. I know there is a discussion going on about or about to start a CONMEBOL Nations league. I would say make it a combined CONMEBOL and CONCACAF or Asian one. Bring some level of quality in these games. It is an unfair stretch on players. The only sporting argument for what AFA is doing since winning 2022 world cup, is this overly friendly matches and lack of competition from opponents reduces the mental and physical burden on our players. A weak argument, but I cannot think of any better sporting argument.
Like many said, with European and CONCACAF nations playing nations league, options are local, asian and Afrian. I would have liked
1. A game against a good Asian side. Like Korea or Japan or Saudi
2. A good African side. Like Ghana, Ivory coast, Cameroon, even Cabo Verde
3. Game against Uruguay or Chile. For Messi farewell. Would loved it if it was Brazil. They played 2 games against Australia
