Alexis Mac Allister spoke about Argentina’s World Cup final.
Mac Allister commented on the Argentina national team’s World Cup final loss against Spain and the conspiracy theories. The Argentine spoke in an interview with LosEdul about the final and the loss. Here is what he had to say:
“It was a great pain not to have been able to win. we all felt close.
“But the reality is that Spain was much better and deserved to win. Even though we plaved badly, the truth is we were very close. And that’s what’s most frustrating.
“Physically, I felt fine. My performance metrics were normal in terms of distance covered. They were better.
“Playing all 8 games and reaching another final was incredible. We have to focus on the positives.”
He also spoke about the conspiracy theories:
“My family comes from football and knows that all that doesn’t exist.
“Unfortunately, we live in a world where anything can be said on social media. There is a lot of impunity and a lot of things that aren’t true.”
