Paulo Dybala scored for AS Roma in their 3-0 win vs. Udinese.
Dybala got his first goal of the season for AS Roma in their win on Sunday. With AS Roma leading 1-0, they were awarded a penalty kick and up stepped the Argentine who scored to give them the 2-0 lead.
Leandro Paredes and Matías Soulé were both substituted into the match for AS Roma.

Failed transfer of dybala to Saudi Arabia created unfortunate situation which had indirect reason for de rossi sacking. Roma has a plan of selling dybala and using matias Soule as his replacement. However sudden change of decision of dybala has forced Soule in unfavorable situation who earlier rejected premier league offers with greater salary to be a main man in Roma.I think it’s big loss for Argentina as well as the way Soule played last season he was unplayable against big teams like Inter, Milan etc. He could have gained valuable experience against chile but sudden inclusion of dybala changes everything . Considering dybala injury record it’s very difficult to depend on him despite he has big game player mentality.
But I am surprised with sudden exclusion Leonardo Parades from Roma 1st eleven this season because he was the best midfielder of Roma last season.
I wouldn’t worry about Soule, the kid has talent and a good head on his shoulder (remember how he turned down that big Saudi offer to go play for Frozinone).
With Dybala’s injury record, Matias will get plenty of chances to impress especially since he’s capable of playing SS/AM in addition to his prefered RW/WF role.
In addition to all that Soule is no stranger to the 3-5-2 system since he played RWB several times for Allegri when he was at Juvi and infact he did quite well thanks to his tencity, work ethic, defensive discipline and passing range.
After a bunch of early starts, Soule has been relegated to the bench. I hope he regains his spot, but now it is going to be a bit harder with a new coach who likes to play a formation (3-5-1-1) in which Soule can only play as a 10. However, as long as Dybala is healthy, it is going to be his. Dybala and Soule can only play together in a 4-2-3-1 or 3-4-2-1 which this new coach does not seem to prefer.
