Cristian Romero was substituted out for Tottenham Hotspur with a knock.

Romero did not complete the match for Tottenham Hotspur in their 4-1 win vs. Aston Villa. The 26 year old took off his right boot and was receiving treatment on the pitch before being substituted out after making a tackle in the match.

Tottenham Hotspur coach Ange Postecoglou confirmed that Romero received a knock. The Argentina national team play a World Cup qualifier on November 14 against Paraguay.

  1. Scaloni has to try a new defender if Cuti is out! We can’t rely on Otamendi and Pezzella and Martinez’s form isn’t getting any better.

Also, Garnacho had another disastrous performance after West Ham game. He scores against weak opponents and cup games and when it matters the most misses chance after chance. He missed like 4 chances today and two of them weren’t difficult , easier than the two misses against West ham. His misses had landed United in 13th position. No way the new coach will start him if his finishing and decision making doesn’t improve. It was a horrendous display from him.

    • I agree it’s high time Scaloni drops garnacho until he change his attitude. He can’t press, can’t track back . His attitude is terrible. I think Giuliano Simeone and even angel correa will be more productive. I haven’t watched Thiago Fernandez matches to make conclusion. But I hope he is good at pressing, tracking back like Simeone, Alvarez & Nico Gonzalez. Garnacho will be a liability in a high pressing match
