Argentina could qualify for World Cup before match vs. Brazil

Argentina could qualify for the 2026 World Cup before their match against Brazil.

The Argentina national team could be qualified for the 2026 World Cup even prior to their World Cup qualifying match against Brazil on Tuesday. Uruguay will play Bolivia on Tuesday before Argentina’s match and if Uruguay do not lose, Argentina will qualify for the World Cup.

Lionel Scaloni’s team are presently guaranteed a playoff spot for the World Cup and if Uruguay do lose against Bolivia, Argentina will need just one point against Brazil to qualify.

  1. We should not think just about qualification. Some matches are meant to give your all. Brazil match is one such. Scaloni had said last year that he would only give chances to players who are regular to their club games. Logical strategy. Brazil match is a test of that strategy. Better to have fitter and regular than fansied players.

  2. I like the idea of adding one more defensive midfielder to the lineup. Molina and Tagliafico need support to stop Brazilian wingers.

  3. Any idea where to watch the match live in India. Most of the media says it is available in Fan code app/ website. However it’s not FanCode doesn’t stream neither Argentinas or Brazils match. If anyone has got any link that can be used to watch it in India. Kindly share. Thank You

  4. Now it’s a matter of qualifying in style and earning the best position possible to lead their group.
Aside from the positives of the new WC format, it’s no longer prestigious, in my opinion.
It’s always been about $$$ greed and power and don’t let anybody (FIFA) convince you otherwise.
