  1. Argentine coaches haven’t often failed in big occasions. Pekermen failing read the game and benched Messi who was already a better finisher than Crespo in 2006. Sampaoli goes toe to toe again speedy young frech side in 2018 with slow and aging defense and midfield. Sabella subs out Lavezzi and invites non stop Germans attack for over 60 mins continuously draining whatever left energy from the players.

Mascherano who is a natural defender failed to even get his team to park the bus properly. That early goal did make Miami a bit careful but sloppyness and lack of speed upfront meant any opportunity to counter would fail with huge disappointment. Miami has truly become Messi and friends and may be they will pose a serious threat in MLS but international club futbal is on another level.

If Scaloni is serious about defending the title then he will need to fix our flanks. Messi will start every match and to be effective at this age he will need fast and competent fullbacks and wingers. And currently other than Nico gonzalez who is struggling at Juve , we don’t have any good wingers or full backs! Simeone Jr is very one dimensional and lacks finishing product ,Garnacho’s IQ and finishing challenges Sampaoli’s idiocracy! Molina instead of improving after a great world cup has dropped his game a level below! Tagliafico is reliable but his offensive game is poor. Scaloni has 1 year to fix all these issues or else we will not win the next world cup!

  2. This was no surprise if you watched IM play at a regular basis especially this year as opposed to last year. Tata though disliked, was a proper coach compared to Masche. IM instead of making the club better, made it worse by letting key players leave and replaced with mediocre and older players.
This CWC business was on nobody’s mind but now Messi knows what it feels like to be beaten after being on top of the world, what’s his next move with the NT is the question.

  3. Why you all still expect messi to deliver magic in all games with miami? I feel happy for messi now to just play normal or average for the club to just stay in the right physical condition to arrive in WC. Thats all. Scaloni and messi inspired and shaped a great generation for Argentine national team. And most of that gems are in their prime for the next WC. If god is with us, the hard work and passion for the Argentine jersey and unity won’t go in vain. I believe in this golden generation. They can face and defeat any obstacles. Give them chance and Messi can win the WC again but this time get shouldered by his own team mates. USA is ours. It is the place from where we started to loose the momentum and suffered a lot of heart brakes. And now its come back time. We made it in copa America. Now we have to go for the WC. God is with us, maradona is with us in the form of Messi. We have to witness Argentina dominating with brute mental strength and team work. Its the result i expect from this golden generation. I hope god bless this team again.

  4. Inter Miami’s defense and poor midfield must have reminded Messi his days in PSG, specifically today. Not to this extent but they were quite horrible in keeping possession and defending counters too. But this Miami team is on another level in sloppyness and losing possession and only reason they finished top last season in MLS is because they had Messi!

  5. Inter Miami were better off with the likes of Robert Taylor and Luis campana. I don’t get why Messi convinced club to buy suarez.

Of course everyone said inter Miami would lose by 10-0. By 2 of those goals conceded are kindergarten mistake by tomas aville

    • Whats in it? Messi faced worst defeat with Argentina like 6-1 to bolivia, 8-2 with barca to bayern and all. And those were prime Messi. Now its not even a matter of discussion. We all want messi in the WC as a super sub. We need him. We got great hardworking gems in our team to make us succeed the world cup again. Messi is now more of a mentor to the Argentine national team. He has to play to get the body physically good to inspire our players and get their maximum.
