Julio Soler has arrived in Argentina and spoke about being called-up to the national team and the call-up of José Manuel López.
Soler is part of the Argentina national team for the two World Cup qualifying matches against Venezuela and Ecuador. The 20 year old left back joins the team and will begin training on Monday. Speaking to the media at the airport, here is what he had to say:
“I was really hoping for this call-up. I can’t wait for the evening to arrive so I can be with the World Champions.”
The Argentine was also asked about José Manuel López, his former team mate at Lanús, who has also been called-up:
“I am waiting for him today, I am very happy for him. We shared a lot at Lanus too and I am very happy for him.”
He needs to start getting minutes at Bournemouth. I hope he does
