Gonzalo Montiel and Marcos Acuña both injured for River Plate

Gonzalo Montiel and Marcos Acuña both got injured with River Plate.

Montiel was part of the starting eleven for River Plate in their match against Gimnasia de la Plata but did not start the match. According to Rodrigo Ancora, the 29 year old felt a hamstring strain in the warm up and was replaced in the starting eleven.

Marcos Acuña started the match for River Plate but was substituted out early in the match. Acuña felt discomfort in one of his ankles.

Both players are part of the Argentina national team preliminary list of 55 players for the World Cup.
