Lautaro Martínez has spoken about retiring at Inter and his life after football.
Martínez has played over 350 matches with the club since joining them in 2018 from Racing. Speaking in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Argentine was asked about retiring at the club. Here is what he had to say:
“No doubt I would like to retire at this club. It’s hard for me to imagine myself anywhere else these days. You never know in football but if they don’t kick me out, I’m staying here.”
The 28 year old was also asked about what he will be doing after he retires:
“I will not stay in football, it’s not an atmosphere I like. I will disappear and you they won’t know of me.”
