Castellanos made it six goals in 18 league matches, scoring in the last league game for West Ham as they were relegated to the Championship. In the last league match, West Ham needed a win against Leeds and for Everton to win against Tottenham to avoid relegation but it was West Ham and Tottenham who would win as West Ham would be relegated.
With the score at 0-0, it was a cross into the penalty area and Castellanos scored with a header to give West Ham the 1-0 lead. West Ham would score two more goals but would get relegated and they will be playing in the Championship.
