Lionel Messi scored four goals for Inter Miami in their 7-1 win against Montreal.
Messi had four goals and one assist, making it 17 goals and nine assists in 19 league matches. With the score at 1-1, Inter Miami were awarded a free kick.
It was Messi who took it and his free kick took a deflection off the Montreal player and he scored to give Inter Miami the 2-1 lead. With Inter Miami leading 2-1, Messi dribble around three Montreal players and scored his second goal of the match.
With Inter Miami leading 4-1, it was a pass into the penalty area which found Messi and he scored his hat trick. Inter Miami would score one more goal before Messi would score another goal.
Inter Miami were awarded a free kick and it was the 39 year old who would score his fourth goal of the game.
