There are still weeks remaining for Scaloni to make a decision which has to do with his energy and desire to rebuild a project, a team and start a new cycle. Walter Samuel, who is part of the Argentina national team coaching staff, is set to leave the team.
Scaloni is underpaid compared to other NT coaches, if not for money what else are they negotiating?
I’d rather have him carry on than a new coach because we already know what we have in him and 2, the AFA will cheap out on hiring a big name coach, the Wall leaving hurts though.
If Scaloni chooses the same team, minus the suspended players, that played in the WC finial, and if Mastantuono is called up and given the No. 10 shirt, Scaloni should be sacked immediately.
