Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni has spoken about the younger players in the team.
Lionel Scaloni held a press conference on Tuesday where he confirmed the new captains. In the same press conference, Scaloni spoke about the new players and the match against Bolivia. Here is what he had to say:
“I more or less have the team confirned. We have training today and the players don’t know it yet, we will tell them after training.
“We know the new players, we have references and we have been monitoring them. They show they want to be here, thry are very eager. We will give them the opportunity to play so they can contribute.
“There’s a change now but with a more solid base than when we started the cycle with the national team. There are people we can trust and that gives us peace of mind, although we know that doesn’t guarantee results.”
