Lautaro MARTINEZ is edging closer to a move to Spain.
Atletio Madrid are reportedly very close to signing Lautaro MARTINEZ of Argentine Primera club Racing Club de Avellaneda. The transfer would be in the region €11 million region and the 20 year old would be moving next summer. The Argentina U20 forward’s agent spoke to Fox Sports and had this to say:
Lautaro MARTINEZ:
“There’s a 99 percent chance that the deal will be done. Lautaro asked us for the transfer to be completed. He likes the idea of Atletico Madrid and they have agreed to it. Lautaro wants to remain for another season because he wants to play the Copa Libertadores with Racing Club.”

Martinez would be great under Simone’s guidance and atletico has been looking for an argentina 9… vieto didn’t make the cut and correa is solid but plays more as a winger…

Atletico can sign him only in the January transfer window since their transfer ban will end only by then. It will be a great move for Lautaro Martinez to go to play under Simione, but for Racing club, it will not be good without him with Acuna and Bou already gone!
Racing have Oroz now. He may cover loss of Acuna. Cuadra, Zaracho are good players too.
Augusto Solari, transfer from River Plate, is another Racing addition this season. He has good speed. I think, he has played for Estudientes also in last season. Solari will play on the right wing or right midfield and Zaracho. who is otherwise a right midfielder will play on the left wing. This is what I think.
