Martínez made it four goals and two assists in his last five Serie A matches, reaching nine goals in the league. With Inter leading 1-0, Lautaro received the ball out wide, cut inside and his effort beat the goalkeeper to give Inter the 2-0 lead.

He also had an assist on Inter’s third goal. He would back heel the ball to Denzel Dumfries who would score Inter’s third goal of the match.

The Argentine now has 12 goals and six assists for Inter in 29 matches.

Argentina U20 team play Colombia U20 team in South American Youth Championship

The Argentina U20 team will play Colombia’s U20 team in the South American Youth Championship.

Argentina lead Group B after their 6-0 win against Brazil and will play Colombia on Sunday to maintain their spot in the standings. Colombia have not yet played a match in the South American Youth Championship as there are five teams in Group B and with Ecuador having won 2-1 against Bolivia, a win for Colombia would bring them to three points.

Claudio Echeverri scored two goals for Argentina against Brazil and leads the South American Youth Championship in goals. Santiago Hidalgo, Ian Subiabre and Agustín Ruberto also scored one goal each.

Paulo Dybala’s contract extended with AS Roma

Paulo Dybala’s contract with AS Roma has been extended.

Dybala will remain with the club until next year. The club has announced that the Argentine’s contract has automatically been extended until June 26 with a release clause of €12 million.

The 31 year old joined AS Roma in 2022 from Juventus.

Argentina to play Brazil at Monumental in March World Cup qualifier

Argentina will play Brazil at the Monumental in March’s World Cup qualifiers.

The Argentina national team is going to play two World Cup qualifying matches in March. The first will be on March 21 against Uruguay in Montevideo and the second will be against Brazil on March 25 at the Monumental.

They will be the first of six World Cup qualifying matches this year.

Benjamín Domínguez scored for Bologna in their 1-1 draw vs. Empoli.

Domínguez made it three goals in Serie A for Bologna, scoring in their draw. With Empoli leading 1-0, it was a cross into the penalty area and the Argentine would score from a difficult angle to draw Bologna level.

Santiago Castro would be substituted into the match for Bologna.
