The reigning Champions League winners could be looking to add an Argentine to the team. According to ESPN Argentina, Madrid are interested and have have asked about conditions to sign Cristian Romero.
Only 26 years old, the Argentine has won everything there is to win with the Argentina national team. A World Cup, Copa America and Finalissima winner, he joined Tottenham in 2022 from Atalanta.
Javier Mascherano has stated that Ángel Di María is a top five Argentina player of the last 40-50 years.
Mascherano played alongside Ángel Di María with the Argentina national team at three World Cups and three Copa’s America. The two also won a gold medal together at the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing.

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni held a trianing session on Tuesday in the rain in Miami. The team did work in the gym and on the pitch.
The Argentina team will train on Wednesday and Thursday for their match against Guatemala on Friday. They will be the final two training sessions before Lionel Scaloni announces his final team for the 2024 Copa America.

Lionel Messi released a video for the Copa America where he tells everyone to go together for it, again.
Messi posted a video on his social media wearing a shirt of the Argentina national team, narrating for the Copa America. Putting his arm over his heart, Messi says “here are the people, the cities, the team mates, the coaches, the staff and everyone who wore this shirt.”
“He goes on to say “here are the neighborhood clubs, the neighborhood pitches and the schools. Here are joys, the sadness.
“The hugs and the tears. Here is my family and every one of your families. Here are those that are not here. Here you are. Here, in the heart, is Argentina. Let’s all go together again.”
The Argentina national team will begin defending their Copa America trophy on June 20 in the opening match against Canada.

Germán Pezzella has trained with the Argentina national team.
Pezzella was back training with Argentina on Monday evening and he could be making the Copa America team. According to Gastón Edul, under these conditions, he will be going to the Copa America with Argentina.
He did not play in Argentina’s 1-0 win vs. Ecuador on Sunday.
