Ángel Di María has tied Gonzalo Higuaín in goals with the Argentina national team and he joins the top six all time.

Di María continues to make history with the Argentina national team. The man for all finals scored for Argentina in their 1-0 win vs. Ecuador in Chicago, Illinois in a friendly match.

That goal takes Di María to 31 goals all time with the Argentina national team, putting him in sixth place, tied with Gonzalo Higuaín. He is now three goals behind Diego Maradona who has 34 goals and four goals behind Hernán Crespo who has 35 goals.

Sergio Agüero is in third with 41 goals, Gabriel Batistuta with 56 goals and Lionel Messi is at 106 goals, leading the Argentina national team.

The Argentina national team has flown back to Miami after their match against Ecuador.

Argentina are back in Miami and will continue training at Inter Miami’s training complex before their match agianst Guatemala on Friday. Lionel Scaloni’s team landed back in Miami on Monday after their team’s 1-0 win vs. Ecuador and preparations will continue for their match against Guatemala.

Giuliano Simeone scored twice for the Argentina Olympic team in their 2-0 win vs. Paraguay.

Simeone had both goals for the Argentina Olympic team’s second win in two matches against Paraguay on Monday. A cross into the penalty area found Simeone and he scored a header to give Argentina the 1-0 lead.

Javier Mascherano’s team would grab a second goal early in the second half. Simeone would receive the ball outside of the penalty area and his effort would beat the goalkeeper for his second goal of the match.

Lionel Scaloni has stated that the Argentina Copa America list will be announced after the match against Guatemala.

Scaloni has confirmed that he will wait until after the match against Guatemala on Friday to announce the team for the Copa America. The coach spoke to the media after Argentina’s 1-0 win vs. Ecuador where he commented on not risking Lionel Messi and some players for the match. He also spoke about the Copa America list and when it will be announced. Here is what he had to say:

“In principle, the list, we will give it, we will wait for after the match in Washington.
