Emiliano Martínez kept a clean sheet for Argentina in their 2-0 win vs. Canada at the 2024 Copa America.
Martínez made a big save in the first half to keep Canada off the score sheet and was involved with several crosses, creating goal scoring opportunities.

The Argentina national team continued training in New Jersey as they prepare for their match against Chile at the Copa America.
Lionel Scaloni’s team continue preparing for the match on Tuesday with every player available in the training. According to the AFA website, the team trained for 90 minutes working with the ball, followed by a match of 11 against 11 in an 80 meter pitch.
Argentina will play Chile on Tuesday at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey.

Nicolás Otamendi has a real chance to start in place of Lisandro Martínez against Chile for Argentina.
Otamendi could be starting on Tuesday. According to Gastón Edul, there is a real possibility that Otamendi starts in place of Lisandro.
It was Lisandro Martínez and Cristian Romero who started Argentina’s 2-0 win vs. Canada at the Copa America in the first match. Lisandro did not receive a yellow card in the match and Otamendi was substituted into the match in the second half.
The Argentina national team are presently in New Jersey preparing for the match against Chile on Tuesday at Metlife Stadium.

Messi and the entire Argentina national team took part in the training on Saturday, without any injuries or knocks. The team trained at the Red Bull Arena Training Center.
The players starteed with a ten exercises to warm up and after that with the ball, cones and the rondo. The goalkeepers performed specific drills.
Scaloni’s team will train once more on Sunday and Monday before their Copa America match against Chile on Tuesday.
