Walter Benítez started for PSV Eindhoven in their 5-0 win vs. Vitesse and he reached 17 clean sheets this season.

Benítez leads the Eredivisie with 17 clean sheets ahead of Mathew Ryan of AZ Alkmaar who has 11 clean sheets. The Argentine goalkeeper has four clean sheets in his last six matches.

He recently made his Argentina national team debut, starting and playing in the team’s 3-1 win vs. Costa Rica last month.

Gaich scored his first league goal since December, coming on as a substitute for Rizespor. With Rizespor leading 2-0, it was a pass in to Gaich and the Argentine beat his marker inside the penalty area and a right footed finish beat the goalkeeper to give Rizespor the 3-0 lead.

The 25 year old has played 31 out of the 32 league matches for the club, starting in 12 of the matches.

Nicolás Tagliafico scored and 10 minutes later received a red card for Lyon in their 4-3 win vs. Brest on matchday 29 of the Ligue 1.

In a hectic match, Brest were leading 3-2 in the 79th minute when Tagliafico received a pass on the left side of the pitch. The Argentine controlled the ball, entered the box and executed a low, powerful shot to the goalkeeper’s left post to score the 3-3 for his team.

In the 87th minute and with the game still tied, Nicolás committed a foul on Brest’s number 20 Pierre Lees-Melou and tried to pull him up. A brawl broke out and with both players already on yellow cards, they were both shown a second yellow card by the referee.

Lyon ended up winning the game 4-3 with a penalty kick in the 10th added minute of the game.

Exequiel Palacios has won the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen!

Palacios has won the Bundesliga for the very first time. The Argentine helped the club win the Bundesliga for the first time in their history, playing an integral part in the team.

Bayer Leverkusen won 5-0 vs. Werder Bremen on Sunday and with Palacios coming on off the bench and getting an assist on their fourth goal, Leverkusen were crowned German champions. The 25 year old has three goals and four assists in 21 Bundesliga matches but his play and consistency this season is up there among the best in the league.

With the Argentina national team, Palacios has won the World Cup, the Copa America and the Finalissima. With Leverkusen, he is a Bundesliga Champion and with River Plate, a Copa Libertadores, a Recopa Sudamericana and two time Copa Argentina champion.

Lionel Messi scored and had an assist for Inter Miami in their 3-2 win vs. Sporting KC.

Messi scored one of the goals of the season for Inter Miami and also had an assist on their first goal of the match. With Sporting KC leading 1-0, Messi receiving the ball in midfield and played a through ball to Diego Gomez who scored to draw Inter Miami level.

The Argentine would score Inter Miami’s second goal of the match, a screamer and goal of the season contender. Messi would receive the ball outside of the penalty area and his left footed effort would beat the goalkeeper from distance and give Inter Miami the 2-1 lead.

In five MLS matches this season, Messi has five goals and two assists. He also has 18 goals for Inter Miami, 11 goals behind Gonzalo Higuaín who has 29 goals and holds the record for most in club history.

Tomás Avilés and Marcelo Weigandt also started the match.
