Matías Soulé scored a stunning goal for AS Roma in their 1-1 away draw against Lazio in the Derby della Capitale on matchday 32 of Serie A.

With the home side leading 1-0 in the 69th minute, the 21-year-old Argentine called for the ball, received it about five meters outside the box, and struck it first-time with his left foot. The ball hit the crossbar, bounced a few centimeters over the goal line, and then hit the crossbar again—sending his teammates into celebration.

Leandro Paredes also started for AS Roma but was substituted at halftime, while Valentín “Taty” Castellanos started for Lazio and was taken off in the 76th minute.

Thiago Almada scored for Lyon in their 2-2 draw against Manchester United.

Almada got his first goal in European competition, scoring in the Europa League. With the score at 0-0, Lyon were awarded a free kick and it was Almada who took it.

The Argentine would cross the ball into the penalty area and it would go through everyone and score to give Lyon the 1-0 lead. United would score and take a 2-1 lead but Lyon would draw level in injury time with Almada having a pass in the goal.

Alejandro Garnacho started the match for United while Nicolás Tagliafico started for Lyon.

Lionel Messi scored twice for Inter Miami in their 3-1 win against LAFC.

Messi had two goals in the match and Inter Miami qualified to the semi finals of the CONCACAF Champions Cup. LAFC took an early 1-0 lead, 2-1 on aggregate but Messi would score two goals.

The 37 year old scored a free kick which was disallowed as the referee had not whistled for the free kick to be taken. Moments later, Messi would receive the ball on the edge of the penalty area and his effort would go into the side of the goal to draw Inter Miami level.

Inter Miami would take the 2-1 lead in the match and the score would be 2-2 on aggregate. Javier Mascherano’s team would need one more goal to qualify and they were awarded a penalty kick.

A repeat of the 2022 World Cup final, it was Lionel Messi against Hugo Lloris. Messi would go to his right and Lloris would stay in the middle as Messi would score his second goal of the match.
