Paulo Dybala scored for AS Roma in their 2-1 win vs. AC Milan in the Europa League.

Dybala started the match for AS Roma and scored one his second goal of the Europa League this season. With AS Roma leading 1-0, Dybala curled a shot from inside the penalty area into the goal to give them the 2-0 lead.

Mehmet Zeki Celik was red carded for AS Roma and Dybala was substituted out before half time for AS Roma. They will play Bayer Leverkusen in the semi finals.

Nicolás González scored in extra time for Fiorentina in their 2-0 win vs. Viktoria Plzen

González played 98 minutes for Fiorentina with the match going to extra time. At 0-0 and in extra time, the ball fell to the Argentine and he scored to give Fiorentina the 1-0 lead.

Lucas Beltrán also started the match with Lucas Martínez Quarta starting on the bench but he was substituted into the match. Fiorentina will play Club Brugge in the semi finals of the Conference League.

Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Leonardo Balerdi from Marseille.

Leonardo Balerdi could soon be leaving French football. According to L’Équipe, the centre-back has attracted interest from clubs, most notably Diego Simeone’s Atletico.

Balerdi joined Marseille from Dortmund and has spent four years at the club, playing over 100 matches with Marseille. The 25 year old has played two matches with the Argentina national team.

Julián Álvarez scored in the penalty shootout with Real Madrid eliminating Manchester City in the Champions League.

Álvarez did not start for Manchester City in their Champions League match against Real Madrid but was brought on as a substitute. With the score at 1-1 and the tie 4-4 on aggregate, Alvarez was brought on as a substitute.

Manchester City had created most of the goal scoring opportunities but were unable to convert as the match went to penalty kicks. The first to take it was Julián Álvarez.

The Argentine took his penalty and scored convincingly to give City the 1-0 lead. Real Madrid would miss their first penalty and City would miss their next two with Madrid scoring theirs next four penalty kicks.

Madrid would win 4-3 on penalty kicks to reach the semi finals of the Champions League where they will play Bayern Munich.

The Champions League quarter final matches continue on Wednesday and it’s Julián Álvarez with Manchester City against Real Madrid.

Julian Alvarez did not start the first match which ended 3-3 in Madrid but did come in as a substitute. The Argentine has five goals in six matches in the Champions League this season.

The second match in the Champions League is Bayern against Arsenal.
