Julián Álvarez ranked in seventh place for the FIFA Best award.

Álvarez won the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and the Club World Cup with Manchester City and finished with 21 points in the rankings for the FIFA Best. Lionel Messi was named as the Best player in the world for a record eighth time and Álvarez is the other Argentine player in the top 10 players.

The 23 year old finished on 21 points, ahead of Bernardo Silva with 18, İlkay Gündoğan with 13, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia with seven, Marcelo Brozović with seven and Declan Rice with one.

Argentina will be playing two friendly matches in March. According to Gastón Edul, Argentina will play China in the month of March and a European opponent.
