Paulo Dybala scored from the penalty spot for Roma in their 1-1 draw vs. Atalanta.

Dybala tied the match in the 39th minute for AS Roma when Atalanta had taken the lead. The Argentine kicked the penalty with power to his right and beat the goalkeeper who dived to the other side.

Roma’s coach José Mourinho joined Paulo in his iconic mask celebration. “La Joya” had also scored a penalty four days ago in his team’s 2-1 win against Cremonese.

The Argentines Leandro Paredes in Roma and José Luis Palomino in Atalanta entered the field in the second half.

The 30 year old now has five goals and six assists in 13 league matches.

Benjamín Rollheiser has been sold to Benfica from Estudiantes.

Rollheiser will be leaving Estudiantes and will be emulating many Argentine players by joining Benfica. According to César Luis Merlo, the 23 year old has been sold and will join Benfica in the middle of the year.

It is a move for €9 million for 90% of his transfer and the club will keep 10% of a future sale. The winger joins them until June 2029 on a five year deal.

Julián Álvarez scored for Manchester City in their 5-0 win vs. Huddersfield in the third round of the FA Cup.

Álvarez scored the second goal for City in the 37th minute. He received the ball inside the box in an uncomfortable position but he managed to push it slowly with his left foot into the back of the net. The 23-year-old was substituted out in the 56th minute and received an 8.3 Sofascore rating.

The Argentinian striker notched his fifth goal in his last four games. He converted twice against Fluminense plus once against Everton, Sheffield United and now Huddersfield.

Nicolás Domínguez scored and Gonzalo Montiel assisted for Nottingham Forest in their 2-2 draw vs. Blackpool in the third round of the FA Cup.

Nottingham Forest started losing 2-0 until, once again, a combination between the Argentinians Montiel and Domínguez brought them back into the match. The right-back received the ball on the right side and crossed it precisely to the midfielder, who headed the ball to the back of the net and scored Nottingham’s first goal of the match. They had done this combination only a week ago against Manchester United.

Nehuén Pérez: “My objective is to go to the Copa America”

Nehuén Pérez has stated that his goal is to be at the Copa America with the Argentina national team.

Pérez has started and played 90 minutes in every Serie A match with Udinese this season. The 23 year old defender gave an interview with Marca where he spoke about playing with the national team at the Copa America. Here is what he had to say:

“I would like to return to the Argentina national team. I know that first I have to do things well here at my club. Personally, I feel very well. My objective is to go to the Copa America.

“I was there until the last thing before Qatar. I have a friendship with some of them because we were together at the U20, we already know each other. We know that the staff always looks at everyone and you have to be good to be able to go. It’s a very competitive national team the World champions.”
