Argentina remain number one in the latest FIFA rankings.

Lionel Scaloni’s team played two matches in November. They lost the first one 2-0 vs. Uruguay and won the second one 1-0 against Brazil.

The World Cup champions are still in first place with France behind them in second. England are third, Belgium are fourth and Brazil are in fifth place.

Netherlands are in six, Portugal in seven, Spain in eight, Italy in nine and Croatia in ten.

Nico Paz scored his first goal for Real Madrid in their 4-2 win vs. Napoli.

Paz was substituted in for Real Madrid in their Champions League match and the 19 year old got his first goal. With the score at 2-2, Paz would get the ball in midfield, spin around his marker and his left footed effort would beat the goalkeeper and he would score to give Madrid the 3-2 lead.

Gio Simeone started and scored for Napoli in their 4-2 loss vs. Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Simeone was in the starting line-up for the first time in the Champions League for Napoli and scored the first goal of the match. With the score at 0-0, a cross into the penalty area found Di Lorenzo who played it across to Simeone and he scored from close range to give Napoli the 1-0 lead.

The Argentine scored his first goal in the Champions League and it was United’s first goal of the match. A pass into Garnacho and he would score with his left footed effort to give United the 1-0 lead.

The Argentina national team could be playing their two friendly matches in March the United States.

Argentina received offers to play teams in March but nothing is yet confirmed. According to Gastón Edul, the possibility of Argentina playing a European team in March has cooled down.

An offer to play an Asian opponent in March stalled and the United States could host the two friendly matches.
