Real Madrid are reportedly looking to sign Nico Paz of Como back to the club.

Nico Paz spent eight years signed to Real Madrid and after only one season with Como, they are looking to sign him back. According to Fabrizio Romano, the club will inform Como on their final decision about his buy back release clause this week.

The buy back clause for Real Madrid is €8 million this summer, €9 million in 2025 and €10 million in 2026, with Real also maintaining a 50% sell-on clause. New Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso is involved in the decision.

Lionel Messi scored a free kick for Inter Miami in their 3-3 draw against Philadelphia.

Messi made it six goals and two assists in 10 league matches with Inter Miami this season. With Philadelphia leading 3-1, Mascherano’s team were awarded a free kick.

It was Messi who took it and the Argentine would score, placing the ball into the top corner. Messi would also play a role in the lead up to Inter Miami’s third goal of the match.

Nico Paz has been named as Serie A’s Best U23 player of the 2024-2025 season.

Paz joined Como from Real Madrid, scoring six goals and assisting nine times in 35 matches. His former club Real Madrid are reportedly interested in bringing him back to the club.

The 20 year old’s performances had him called up to the Argentina national team by coach Lionel Scaloni where he played against Bolivia and Brazil. He is called up for Argentina’s World Cup qualifying matches in June.

Giovanni Simeone won Serie A with Napoli after their 2-0 win against Cagliari.

The league in Italy came down to the final match day and it was either Napoli or Inter who would win it. Napoli had a one point advantage going into it and a win for them would secure the title.

Alejandro Garnacho speaks out about the coach and his future at Manchester United

Alejandro Garnacho spoke in the mixed zone after Manchester United’s 1-0 defeat in the Europa League final.

The young Argentine winger, who did not start the match, appeared visibly upset and said the following to reporters:

“The season was crap, we didn’t beat anyone in the league, truly.”

When asked about manager Ruben Amorim’s decision not to give him more minutes, Garnacho responded:

“Until the final, I played every round and helped the team. And to play just 20 minutes today… I don’t know.”

Regarding his future at Manchester United, Garnacho stated:

“I’ll enjoy the summer and then we’ll see.”

In response, United’s coach addressed the Argentine forward’s comments in the media:

“It’s easy to say that now. Who missed a clear chance in the first half of the semifinal? Garnacho. That’s football.”

Alejandro Garnacho has been called up to the Argentina national team for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers in early June.
