Lionel Messi’s move to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a “done deal” according to a report by the AFP.

Messi is unlikely to renew his contract with PSG and continues to be linked with a return to Barcelona. But according to a report by AFP, we will be seeing Messi in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The report by the AFP states that a source close to them has claimed that Messi will be playing in Saudi Arabia next season:

“Messi is a done deal. He will play in Saudi Arabia next season.”

“The contract is exceptional. It’s huge. We are just finalising some small details.”

Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal had reportedly bid 400 million for Messi in April.

The Argentina national team have won the 2023 Laureus World Team of the Year award.

Argentina continue to win individual and team awards. Lionel Messi was named the 2023 Laureus World Sportsman of the Year and now Argentina have won one as a team.

Lionel Scaloni’s team won the award ahead of Real Madrid, the England Women’s Football Team, France Men’s Rugby Team, Golden State Warriors and the Oracle Red Bull Racing team.
