Adolfo Gaich scored his first goal for Verona in their 2-1 win vs. Sassuolo.

Gaich was brought on as a substitute and scored his first goal of the season for Verona and late in injury time. With the score at 1-1, it was a mistake by the Sassuolo goalkeeper as he passed it to Gaich and the Argentine would score an open goal from near the center of the pitch.

The 24 year old has played in Verona’s last nine matches, being a starter in most of them.

Acuña scored his third goal of the season in La Liga to give Sevilla the 2-0 lead. The Argentine would intercept a pass in midfield and his left footed effort from distance would beat the goalkeeper.

He would go on to get a straight red card after Celta drew level. Gonzalo Montiel and Erik Lamela also played for Sevilla.

The Argentina U17 team won 3-0 vs. Peru at the Sudamericano.

Diego Placente’s Argentina U17 team have now qualified for the last round of the Sudamericano after their win. Making it three wins out of three, Claudio Echeverri opened the scoring with a fantastic individual goal.

Echeverri would get through is marker and chip the goalkeeper to give Argentina the 1-0 lead. Agustín Roberto would make it 2-0 for Argentina as a cross inside the penalty area found the Argentine and he would score.

Claudio Echeverri would make it 3-0 as he would score his second goal of the match. A low pass into the penalty area and he would score his third goal of the tournament.

Argentina play Paraguay on Saturday.
