Lionel Messi posed with Argentina’s 1994 World Cup kit and we have news on the upcoming shirts.

Messi took to his Instagram page to post a picture and a video of himself wearing the memorable Argentina away kit from the 1994 World Cup. Messi is shown wearing the full kit with the shorts.

Mundo Albiceleste has learned that Adidas will be releasing several 1994 World Cup related merchandise for Argentina going into the Copa America next year. The re-releases are expected to be out in December of this year.

Mauro Icardi has joined Galatasaray on a permanent deal from PSG.

Icardi has joined Galatasaray for €10 million after having spent last season on loan where he won the league. PSG made the announcement themselves on Friday evening.

The 30 year old joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2019 scoring a total of 38 goals in 92 matches. Icardi scored a total of 23 goals in 26 matches last season with Galatasaray.

Fans of the club waited and welcomed Icardi when he landed in Turkey on Saturday morning.

Argentina U20 national team player Gino Infantino is set to join Fiorentina.

Gino Infantino is going to Europe. According to César Luis Merlo, the Rosario Central midfielder is joining them for only €3 million on a contract until June 2028.

Infantino was part of the Argentina U20 national team at the U20 World Cup where he played in all four matches, scoring one goal. Rosario Central are also going to get a percentage of future sales.

Facundo Farías joins Inter Miami until 2026

Facundo Farías has signed with Inter Miami on a contract until 2026.

Farías is joining Lionel Messi in Miami. The club announced on Saturday that they have signed the 20 year old attacking midfielder from Club Atlético Colón.

The contract will keep him at the club until 2026 with options until 2027 and 2028. Chief Soccer Officer and Sporting Director Chris Henderson had this to say about Facundo:

“Facundo is a player with a lot of promise and we’re excited to bring him to Inter Miami. We believe he will be able to realize his potential here and bolster our options in a number of positions”.

The Argentine himself spoke of his move:

“I’m very pleased to make this move. Inter Miami is a big club with incredible ambition and I am excited to be a part of the project alongside great players, coaches and staff.”

Negotiations have started over Mauro Icardi’s transfer to Galatasaray from PSG.

Galatasaray released a statement on Friday announcing that official negotiations have started with Icardi and PSG. The 30 year old spent last season on loan at Galatasaray.

Icardi scored 22 goals in 24 league matches last season, helping Galatasaray to a league title.
