Lionel Messi was presented as an Inter Miami player!

Messi walked out onto the pitch as he was introduced by the Inter Miami owners. Mundo Albiceleste was there to capture the moment Messi walked out for the first time as an Inter Miami player at the DRV PNK stadium.

There was a slight delay in the musical presentation due to rain but the presentation began on time.

Ángel Di María scored in his return match for Benfica in a 3-1 win vs. FC Basel.

Di María has returned playing for his old club and is also back scoring. Benfica played their first pre-season match of the season and it was the World Cup winner who scored the first goal of the match.

With the score at 0-0, it was a low pass into the penalty area which found the Argentine and he scored his first goal with Benfica.

We have gotten media accreditations and will be at the DRV PNK stadium on Sunday, July 16 for Lionel Messi’s presentation. We will be following the media guidelines and sharing the pictures and videos we would be allowed to share.

David Beckham has welcomed Lionel Messi to Inter Miami.

Beckham took to his Instagram page to welcome the best player in the world to his club. David Beckham is part owner of Inter Miami and with the club announcing Lionel Messi’s arrival, Beckham welcomed Messi as he posted a message on his Instagram. Here is what Beckham posted:

“The next chapter of our story starts her. Ten years ago when I started this journey, I dreamt of bringing the greatest players in the world to Miami… Players who shared the ambition I had when I joined LA Galaxy to help grow football in this country and build a legacy in this sport that we love so much,. Today that dream came true. I couldn’t be prouder that a player of Leo’s caliber is joining our club but I’m also delighted to welcome a friend, an amazing person and his beautiful family to join our Inter Miami CF community.”

David Beckham and Inter Miami have signed the best player in the world. The club released several videos and pictures announcing Messi’s move to Miami.

The transfer has been unofficial for several weeks, with Messi announcing the move himself last month. Inter Miami have held off officially announcing it, having tweeted out pictures of it.
