World Cup winning champions Lionel Scaloni, Pablo Aimar, Roberto Ayala and Walter Samuel are in the latest safety video for the Argentine airline. It is the safety video announcement which airline companies play prior to take off.

In the video, we see call backs to Argentina winning the World Cup and a funny nod to Pablo Aimar’s hands on face incident.

CONMEBOL and CONCACAF have reportedly agreed to have North American teams compete in the Copa Libertadores.

While an announcement has not bene made, it looks to be happening. According to Hernán Castillo, teams from the Northern Hemisphere, in this situation, CONCACAF teams, will be able to play in the Copa Libertadores as of next year.

Alejandro Domínguez, the president of CONMEBOL, tweeted out a video of himself dancing with a caption reading that “Next Monday, a “revelation is coming for all football lovers”. Domínguez had previously stated that Lionel Messi has to play in the Copa Libertadores.

This would mean that we could get Argentine players in the MLS, including Lionel Messi, playing in South America.

Valentín Taty Castellanos is going to join Lazio and will be flying out on Tuesday.

Taty Castellanos is going to be a Lazio player. According to César Luis Merlo, Lazio have agreed to pay €15 million plus bonuses to New York City FC for the Argentine.

Castellanos joins them on a contract until June 2028 and will be flying out on Tuesday to Italy. The 24 year old spent last season on loan with Girona in La Liga where he scored 13 goals in 35 La Liga matches.

Facundo Farías is set to join Inter Miami from Colón.

Farías will be joining Inter Miami and playing alongside Lionel Messi. According to César Luis Merlo, he will be joining Inter Miami for $5.5 million plus $2 million in bonuses.

Colón will get to keep a percentage of future sales for the 20 year old as long as it’s over $5.5 million.

Lionel Messi arrived in Florida on Wednesday and on Thursday had already practiced with his new Inter Miami teammates, with Gerardo Martino as the coach.

The Argentine star will reportedly sign a 3-year contract today with the club which is owned by David Beckham. The agreement would have an exit clause at the end of the first two years.

As previously reported, Messi will be presented this Sunday at the DRV PNK stadium. According to Esteban Edul, the presentation will be followed by a press conference on Monday and a training session open for the press on Tuesday.
