Gio Lo Celso has returned playing for Villarreal.

Lo Celso was back on the pitch for the first time this year following his injury. The 26 year old had last played a match in October against Athletic Bilbao, a match in which he was injured and had to be substituted.

He would go on to miss the World Cup with the Argentina national team due to an injury to his hamstring. Lo Celso was on the bench for Villarreal and was brought on in the second half in their 2-0 win vs. Almeria.

Carlos Alcaraz has scored his second goal for Southampton in their 1-0 win vs. Leicester City.

Alcaraz has two goals in five matches for Southampton. The 20 year old Argentine was through one on one with the goalkeeper and an effort from just outside of the penalty area beat the goalkeeper as he scored to give Southampton the 1-0 lead.

Marcos Senesi scores for Bournemouth in 3-2 loss vs. Arsenal

Marcos Senesi scored for Bournemouth in their 3-2 loss vs. Arsenal.

Senesi scored Bournemouth’s second goal of the match and his second goal of the season. With the score at 1-0, it was a corner kick for Bournemouth and the Argentine would head the ball into the back of the goal to give them the 2-0 lead.

Still on 25 years old, Senesi has not been called up for the Argentina national team since last year. He and Bournemouth are presently last place in the Premier League.

Alexis Mac Allister scores for Brighton in 4-0 win vs. West Ham

Alexis Mac Allister scored for Brighton in their 4-0 win vs. West Ham.

Mac Allister scored the first goal of the match for Brighton. With the score at 0-0, Brighton were awarded a penalty and it was Mac Allister who took it.

The World Cup winner scored and gave Brighton the 1-0 lead, as he is now on six goals in the Premier League this season. Mac Allister also had an assist on Brighton’s second goal which was off a corner kick.

Facundo Buonanotte, who, along with Alexis Mac Allister, is included in the latest Argentina national team list, came on as a substitute. Buonanotte had an assist for Brighton’s fourth goal, as he squared the ball to Welbeck who scored. According to Statman Dave, here were Mac Allister’s numbers:

Argentina national team list for March matches, Alejandro Garnacho included

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni has announced his list of players for the March matches and Alejandro Garnacho is one of the names included in the team.

The World Cup champions will play two matches in March and Scaloni has included the entire World Cup winning team for those matches. He has also included Alejandro Garnacho, Lautaro Blanco, Máximo Perrone, Valentín Carboni and Facundo Buonanotte.

Gio Lo Celso also returns to the team after having missed the World Cup. Scaloni has selected the following players:
