Lionel Messi, Emiliano Dibu Martínez and Enzo Fernández are nominated for the FIFA FIFPro XI.

Three Argentine players have been included in the list of 26 nominees which are up for the FIFA FIFPro team of the year. Emiliano Martinez is one of three goalkeepers which will be picked for the team.

There is no Argentine defender in the list of defenders but Enzo Fernandez is included in the list of eight midfielders. The Best Young Player of the 2022 World Cup is the only Argentine midfielder nominated.

Messi is the only Argentine in the list of seven forwards. He has been included in the FIFA FIFPro World XI for every year since 2007, a record 15 years. Here are the players that have been nominated:

Hernán Crespo has been named as the January coach of the month in Qatar

Crespo is named as the best coach in January in the Qatari league. The Argentine is presently coaching Al-Duhail SC and his team finished with four wins in four matches in the month of January.

In those four matches, Crespo’s team scored nine goals while only allowing one. Crespo’s Al-Duhail are presently first in the league with 29 points.

Lionel Messi is back training with PSG and is in the team for the Champions League.

Messi has returned to training after missing PSG’s league match against Monaco. The Argentine is also in the team for their Champions League match on Tuesday against Bayern Munich.
