Nicolás Otamendi, Leonardo Balerdi and Gonzalo Montiel are set to start for Argentina against Puerto Rico.

The three defenders are set to start alongside Nicolás González who will play as left back. According to Gastón Edul, Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni will start Montiel, Balerdi, Otamendi and González.

Argentina will play Puerto Rico on Tuesday in Miami.

González started on the bench for Argentina in their 1-0 win against Venezuela but is going to be in the starting eleven against Puerto Rico on Tuesday. According to Gastón Edul, González will start as left back.

The Argentina national team will play Puerto Rico on Tuesday and Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni could be making some changes to the team. According to Maximiliano Grillo, the two players could start against Puerto Rico.

Lionel Scaloni’s team won 1-0 against Venezuela and Scaloni stated before the match that the new players would get some minutes in the two matches.

Scaloni held a press conference on Monday where he commented on if Lionel Messi will play against Puerto Rico on Tuesday. Scaloni also spoke about Matías Soulé. Here is what he had to say:

“Soulé is on our radar, like so many other young players who we believe can contribute to the team. He has been with us, as have Buonanotte, Garnacho, and Carboni. These are young players who we see having a future with the national team and we will call them up as and when we see that they have the potential. That’s the idea.”
