It was goals galore in Serie A this weekend with goals from Gonzalo HIGUAIN, Rodrigo DE PAUL, Gonzalo RODRIGUEZ and Ricardo ALVAREZ.

Five goals were scored by Argentine players in Serie A this weekend, with Gonzalo HIGUAIN scoring twice and one each from Rodrigo DE PAUL, Gonzalo RODRIGUEZ and Ricardo ALVAREZ. Beginning with Juventus, Paulo DYBALA was a nightmare for Chievo as he ran them into the ground. DYBALA had a direct assist for the first goal as he left his marker while playing a massive part in the second goal. With his two goals, Gonzalo HIGUAIN is the first Juventus player to score 20 goals in their debut season since John CHARLES and Omar SIVORI did it in the 1957-1958 seaon.

Rodrigo DE PAUL scored for Udinese in their 3-0 win against Genoa. DE PAUL scored Udinese’s first goal of the match, a strike coming from outside the area which beat the goalkeeper. For Genoa, Nicolas BURDISSO, Ezequiel MUNOZ and Giovanni SIMEONE all played.

The Serie A match between Sampdoria and Fiorentina saw goals coming from Argentine’s. For Fiorentina, Gonzalo RODRIGUEZ scored their first goal after a powerful header through a corner kick. For Sampdoria, Ricardo ALVAREZ scored their second with a nice finish from the area.
