The three monster forwards of MESSI, ICARDI, DYBALA are set to start for the Albiceleste when they visit Uruguay.
Lionel MESSI, Mauro ICARDI and Paulo DYBALA are all rumored to start for Argentina. According to rumors coming out of the media in Argentina, the three will spearhead the Argentina attack with Jorge SAMPAOLI playing a hybrid 3-4-2-1/3-4-3 line-up. Here’s the rumored eleven for Argentina.
MESSI, ICARDI, DYBALA in the line-up
ROMERO; MERCADO, FAZIO/MASCHERANO, OTAMENDI; DI MARIA, BIGLIA, PIZARRO, ACOSTA; DYBALA, MESSI; ICARDI
The idea appears to be that Inter captain Mauro ICARDI will play in front of DYBALA and MESSI when they would play as a 3-4-2-1 but DYBALA and MESSI could act as wingers if shifting into a 3-4-3 formation.
Very attacking line up. Interesting to see how it plays out when we lose the ball and have to defend. Messi, Dybala and Icardi will have this so called “license to walk” (no defending duties) but for Biglia organizing the middle section it leaves helluva pressure. Let’s hope that there wont be too many spaces and countering chances for Uruguay to utilize.
The other important point is what we are going to do WHEN we have the ball? I think that playing Di Maria in the middle four and wide will open spaces with lots of room for him to run and that will be the key. Too many games when ARG attacking stops when Di Maria has to be in tight spaces in the final third of the field. That is NOT his position (4-3-3 in the last three) and THIS IS! (3-4-3 in the middle four wide..) always thought that and it is nice to see that Sampaoli will play him there. Angel will tear down defences and wear out their wing backs.
Vamos Argentina!

Interesting line up
Right now Argentine best Central Defender is pizzaro…
pizzaro is a CM or DM not a defender..
First time i found u post pizzaro as cb..i though u wrong player name…second that curious me…the third now..whats wrong with u
It’s a very offensive line up. I like it. Looks like Sampaoli is planning to attack Uruguay from the start. Good attitude.
I didnt like biglia pizzaro double pivot at the center.paredes for pizzaro is my preferred option.what about acosta? With this line up attacks will be mainly through the wings.i would drop acosta for augusto Fernandez to make a 3 CM combo, biglia sitting deep to cover up the 3 men defence.
Romero
Mercado fazio otamendi
Biglia
Augusto paredes dimaria
Messi dybala
Icardi
I think Messi, Dybala, Icardi, and Acosta will not play together.
And why not?
Keeping in mind a 3-4-3 or 3-4-2-1, where do you think Messi, Dybala, Icardi, and Acosta will play? I can imagine the position of the first three but not Acosta.
