Eduardo SALVIO scored for Benfica in their 3-1 win against Estoril Praia. SALVIO scored the first goal of the match following a low pass into the pass from Franco CERVI. Toto SALVIO had an assist of his own for Benfica’s second goal while CERVI added a second assist to his name on the third goal.

In current scenario I guess Dybala has lost his place , and as per the various reports regarding him like he should control his personal life and all , I think we should forget about him for this WC at least.I will be the happiest person if I am wrong though…

In this list, so many of them are not playmakers at all(for ex CR7, Ali, Pogba, Dybala, Hazard and Neymar). Playmaker is not the number of assists but it’s more a style and mindset: he should be a team-player and use his vista and skills to make the others brilliant. There is no fixed position for a playmaker: He can be someone who play deep like Veratti/Kroos, he may be a Spanish style false winger like Messi/Isco/Iniesta/Silva, he can be a central midfielder like KDB/Modric or a more traditional 10 like Ozil/Erikssen.
To me, in this position, at his best level, Pastore is better than anyone in the list(except Iniesta and obviously Messi). I wish Sampaoli will take him and Lanzini for the world cup. We definitely need that kind of player behind Messi.
I like Pastore. I watched him in the copa america ’15, I beleive he was the best player for us but saying that he is better than Isco, KDB, Ozil is in my opinion too much. Any of Those three would be an automatic starter for PSG, Pastore is not. I like him but I think we need a more hardworking player like Perez or Battaglia for the world cup.
Hehe, its very subjective. True that Kdb and Isco would be starter no problem, not sure about Ozil. All I can say is Pastore has been handicapped by injuries for a couple of years. Hope he can find back his level in 2015. I watched him for a friendly game against Hong Kong, he was so amazing, so magical. Each time he touched the ball, there was silence in the stadium.
About the midfield, for sure, to keep the balance in the 3-3-3-1, we need Biglia/Battaglia/Pizarro/Kranevitter as DM, Enzo Perez/Paredes as half defensive midfielder. Why not Ascacibar? Even though a bit late. Quite impressed by him after having seen for a few time.
I think it”s time we gave a chance to Cervi. He is very fast and has guile. Being on the shorter side cetre of gravity is also low and he is quite a committed player. Definitely worth a try.
