Injury Alert: Papu GOMEZ injures Lucas BIGLIA, leaves the match

Alejandro "Papu" Gomez knees Lucas Biglia in the back.

Some breaking news coming out of Italy as Lucas BIGLIA had to come off injured on Sunday.

During Atalanta’s Serie A match vs. AC Milan (which ended in a 1-1 draw), Alejandro “Papu” GOMEZ kneed Lucas BIGLIA in the back and the AC Milan player was unable to to continue the match. BIGLIA was unable to continue as he was substituted off at half time.

BIGLIA had just came back from an injury.

      The challenge is dirty beyond belief. I think it should be a red with a 2 game ban. Looks very deliberate.

  4. This was a stupid challenge by Papu…. there was no reason to go on Biglia like this.
    Don’t share at all the “happiness” of seeing a player injured like this even though he’s not too appreciated.

  7. Barca should have had Messi on the bench for emergency today. Without him, they crumbled, even only against Levante!!! I guess once you have a genius playing with you, it’s hard to figure out what to do without him.

      Messi should have already been rested after Barca clinched the La Liga.

    And.. anyone, who is wishing or happy when our players get injured.. be it Biglia, Higuain, DiMaria, or the whipping boy of the moment can just go fuck themselves. Go support your banana republic team or suck Tevez cock. Show some respect. One thing is to not like the call ups, another is to find pleasure in injuries.

    • He is tactically clear, consistent, plays clean one touch passing and defends well. He is not World Class, but he is not a bad player.

  13. Angel Correa hasn’t to be in the list of 35.. he starts for a top flight team and in a position of need ..a midfield right winger that drops back in defense. I will be surprised if he isn’t a reserve for the World Cup … I’m sure Simeone has spoke on his behalf as well..
