Argentina goalkeeper Sergio ROMERO was sent off for Manchester United in their 2-2 (8-7 penalty) loss to Derby County.
In a rare start for his club, goalkeeper Sergio ROMERO got himself red carded for handling the ball outside of his penalty area. Prior to his sending off, ROMERO was playing well, despite letting in a goal (a fantastic free kick which left ROMERO flat footed).
With the match tied at 1-1, the ball was coming forward and ROMERO came out of his penalty area and as the Derby player shot the ball, ROMERO extended himself and blocked it with his left hand outside of the area.
Sergio ROMERO is expected to be included in Argentina coach Lionel SCALONI’s squad for the upcoming friendly matches.
Don’t worry he will start for us no matter what…
Aie, it hurts 🙁 this is bad luck plus lack of playing time. Mourinho should have managed better the turnover. Honestly I don’t see much progress comparing to Moyes’s era, except maybe those individual actions from Pogba and Lukaku which can still make the difference.
Argentina cotif u20 GK should directly select in senior team
Yes! Agreed!
