Emiliano SALA has signed with Cardiff City for a club record fee.
The Argentine makes the switch from FC Nantes to Wales on a £15 million transfer for a 3 and a half year deal. Speaking to the club’s official website, the Argentine had this to say:
“I’m very happy to be here. It gives me great pleasure and I can’t wait to start training, meet my new teammates and get down to work.
“For me it feels special [to be the club’s record signing]. I have come here wanting to work and to help my teammates and the club. I can’t wait to get to work straight away and do everything I can.”

Premier League soccer player Emiliano Sala was on board a single-engine light aircraft that lost radar contact while flying over the English Channel late on Monday evening, a French police official and a second source said.
Guernsey’s coastguard said it received an alert at 20:23 local time from air traffic control that a small aircraft had gone missing approximately 15 miles north of Guernsey.
No trace of the aircraft, carrying Sala
Today, there was reported to be “genuine concern” that Sala was on a missing plane, the Piper Malibu, which was flying from Nantes to Cardiff.
The plane had gone missing on 21 January.
