      • Manchester City has a GOLDEN opportunity this year to go all the way!
Playing Tottenham? A team that hasn’t been able to beat Man City since October of 2016 when Pep JUST took over?

They’ve got a chance to reach the semi-finals and hopefully even the final for the first time in their history, which I’m pretty sure Pep is not willing to lose his first Final with Man City.

        • Don’t think man city go through against Juve in semifinal, lack of champion league experience going to hurt city last time we saw against Liverpool, even pep failed to reach final with terrible wining side Bayern, realisticlly Juve vs Barca final

          • Liverpool has bigger chance to win it than Juve. Juve had lost 6 or 7 CL finals. Liverpool also has the experience and had a bigger history in CL than Juve.

CR experience and goalscoring ability certainly would be a deciding factor for Juve just like Barca will depend alot on Messi dominant performance to go all the way.

City is like PSG, it seems that they just cant pass round 16 or QF regardless the squad quality.

  1. Yeah, it’s gonna be a cakewalk for Messi and Barcelona, in dreams! Write Man Utd off at your own peril. One of the in form teams in Europe and everything their manager is touching is turning to gold. And not to mention “luck”. Arguably the standout team in the CL this season played them off the park over two legs and they still managed to squeeze through(albeit undeservedly). With this Barca side particularly defensive wise(including the midfield) I fancy Man Utd, Romero and Rojo’s(who’s been getting to the sub bench recently rather astonishingly after injury or whatsoever) Man Utd!

  2. Calling it now!
    – Messi with Barcelona advance, eliminating Romero, Rojo’s United
    – Man City’s Aguero & Otamendi eliminating Tottenham’s Lamela, Foyth, and Gazzaniga
    – Juventus with Dybala eliminate Ajax with Tagliafico & Magallan
    – Porto vs Liverpool? No Argentine’s in this match… so who cares!

    Semi-Finals:
    – Messi
    – Aguero
    – Otamendi
    – Dybala
All of which SHOULD be at the Copa America this summer!

    • But Dybala will be on bench if Juventus beat Ajax, however I wont bet against Ajax as only Simeone’s naivety cost them vs. Juventus. As for Augero and Otamendi, Spurs could beat them and Messi will be definitely going to semis as he is determined as ever.

      • Its funny to see Dybala rarely started and he actually scored 5 goals at CL group stage this season.

We will need Aguero alongside Messi to help the newer guys at Copa. Remember that all these younger players has zero competitive game for the national team , only 6 friendlies without WC qualifying experience.
